Vocal and visual dialects paper published by Proceeding of the Royal Society!

Our long-brewing paper by Marcelo Araya Salas, Grace Smith-Vidaurre, Dan Mennill, and others on vocal and visual dialects in hermit hummingbirds has been published in the Proceeding of the Royal Society. You can read the paper here. This publication is the first (insofar as we know) to describe patterns of geographic variation in a visual display that are best ascribed to learning. Thanks to the National Geographic for funding this work.
